Technology Areas (specialty areas):

Pharmaceuticals - Drafting and prosecution of patents in the areas of pharmaceutical chemistry diagnostics, medical and prosthetic devices.
Mineral Processing - Opinion, opposition and litigation support work in respect of mineral processing technologies, including extractive metallurgy, in addition to drafting and prosecution of patent applications in these areas.


Peter has extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, validity and infringement opinions as well as contentious issues including oppositions and appeal actions.  Peter is regularly called upon to provide technical presentations relating to intellectual property protection for IP Australia and a variety of institutional and professional groups.

After almost 15 years on the regional committee for The Licensing Executives Society of Australia & New Zealand in Western Australia Peter is Regional Chair, having served previous periods as both Regional Chair and Treasurer.  As a consequence, Peter is very familiar with the innovation and technology transfer communities in Western Australia.
