Professional Experience:
Catherine’s honours thesis focussed on how Copyright law interacts with the music industry in the era of digital sampling.
Since joining Wrays as a Law Graduate in 2011, Catherine has practiced in both the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights. She has experience in commercial contracts, trade marks, copyright, consumer law, and passing off matters. She acts for a wide range of clients, both local and international, from small businesses through to multinational corporations.
Catherine is presently engaged in:
- advising on confidentiality issues for a global defence contractor;
- assisting a finance company with domain name problems in Europe;
- assisting a biotechnology company with its brand issues.
