Professional Experience:
Paul practised in the litigation team at Clayton Utz, before moving to Blake Dawson in 2000. Paul was appointed as a Senior Associate at Blake Dawson in 2004.
Paul Joined Wrays in 2009 and is the Director responsible for patent and general commercial litigation. Paul currently has the conduct of patent actions in both in the Federal Court of Australia and before the Commissioner of Patents. Most recently Paul and Gary Cox lead the Wrays multidisciplinary team which successfully defended the Australian patent rights of one of Wrays' international clients (Danisco A/S v Novozymes A/S (No 2) [2011] FCA 282). Paul regularly provides advice to Australian and overseas listed companies with respect to Australian patent law.
