Professional Experience:
David is team leader in our Brisbane office.
Prior to joining the patent and trade marks attorney profession, David worked as a professional engineer for a leading international communications company. He has previously worked for large and medium-sized IP practices based in Sydney and Brisbane, respectively.
David has many years of experience in assisting both local and overseas clients to protect and enforce their IP in both a commercially and cost effective manner. His clients cover a broad spectrum ranging from individuals through to large multinational corporations.
David's day to day practice primarily involves the drafting and prosecution of Australian and overseas applications for patents, registered designs and trade marks. He also has experience with contentious matters, including oppositions, ownership disputes, and infringement proceedings.
