Professional Experience:
Nigel obtained his PhD in Applied Physics from Curtin University of Technology in 2011. Over the course of his PhD, his research was heavily focused on an environmentally friendly cement replacement utilising coal power station waste products. This nature of this research insured that he obtained additional experience in inorganic chemistry and civil engineering test methods.
Nigel has previous experience working as a mineralogy at an international mining company and as a research associate at a university. He has a sound foundation in x-ray analysis techniques, electron microscopy, mechanical test methods and the synthesis of inorganic materials such as cements, ceramics and multi-layer materials.
Nigel joined Wrays in 2011 and is currently studying to become an accredited Patent and Trade Marks Attorney.
