Applications are now open for Western Australia’s Innovation Voucher Program (IVP), which aims to provide SMEs with a financial boost to advance their ideas and decrease the commercialisation gap in WA.
We know that entrepreneurs march to the beat of their own drum, so gaining funding without sacrificing ownership can be challenging. The IVP is designed to assist innovators overcome these obstacles and remove some of the barriers faced on the path to commercialisation.
The program allows for funding of up to $20,000 vouchers to be awarded to help develop new and enhance commercially-ready products or services; establish prototypes, processes or systems; and address a particular technical problem.
In order to receive funding, applications must fall under one of the IVP eligible expenditure categories:
- Research and Development
- Product Development
- Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property
- Commercialisation Support Services
