Wrays’ CEO – Rising to the Challenge to raise money for the homeless…

Frankresized

WA has almost 14,000 people with no place to call home and over 5,000 young people are homeless, living rough or ‘couch surfing’ nightly.

Family breakdown and financial difficulties are the most common reasons for homelessness in WA.

The first national Vinnies CEO Sleepout was held in June 2010, 99 West Australian business and community leaders braving the cold and sleeping rough for a night in winter. Their efforts raised a total of $474,185.

This year, our very own Frank Hurley will brave the elements to raise funds for these worthy people who need our help. Your donation, big or small, will make a difference.

$50 provides a meal and educational resource for a disadvantaged child.

$100 helps ensure a family keeps its power on this winter.

$200 provides emergency accommodation and food to a family in crisis.
$500 relocates and establishes a homeless person into one of the Society’s homeless accommodation services.

$1,000 pays the rent for a family facing eviction from their home.
