Proudly supporting Microsoft’s BizSpark Program 2012

Wrays is proud to announce that we have recently joined the Microsoft BizSpark Program as a Network Partner. The Microsoft BizSpark Program is a global program designed to assist with the development of early stage startup businesses in the IT/software sector. Network Partners are chosen on the basis that they can add substantive value to startups through the provision of advice, mentorship and other forms of assistance. Joe Seisdedos, in our Sydney office, is the primary contact for the BizSpark Program at Wrays.

The BizSpark Program provides startups with access to Microsoft’s current development tools, platform technologies as well as production licences. The Network Partners add immense value through advice, mentorship and assistance. Most importantly, these invaluable resources are provided with no upfront costs and minimal requirements.

“IT startups have great ideas and technologies but they commonly find it hard to gain access to the resources and talented professionals necessary to turn those ideas into sustainable, dynamic businesses. I’m excited to be part of a program that seeks to provide guidance and mentoring to the future leaders of our IT sector” says Joe.

To be eligible for the Microsoft BizSpark Program, startups must be actively engaged in development of a software-based product or service that is a core piece of their business model, have been in business less than three years at the time of enrolment, and have less than USD$1M in annual revenue. Startups may enrol for the program by obtaining an enrolment code from Wrays or another designated BizSpark Network Partner.

If you are a startup that is developing a software-based product or service, contact Joe Seisdedos
