Celebrating the Work of R U OK?

To celebrate the work of R U OK?, Wrays invited Kim Hughes, former Captain of the Australian Cricket Team, to share an honest account of the highs and lows of his personal life and time in cricket. Kim aptly described the lows as “the ball bouncing the other way.”

Some of our favourite take-aways from Kim included:
🏏 There are three ways to be successful – Pitch up, On Time, With the Right Attitude
🏏 Everyone panics, the key is to be the last to panic
🏏 The standard you walk past, is the standard you accept
🏏 If you want to be different in 2 years, it’s about the people you meet and the books you read
🏏 The day you are no longer having fun, is the day you give it away

Many thanks to Kim for sharing his story and helping to reinforce the message to our Wrays family that they are not alone. And for the cricket fans out there…apparently Geoff Thompson was the hardest bowler to face!
